82°E Cleansers: A Must-Have For All Skin Types

While targeted treatments like serums help tackle most skincare concerns, they mean nothing without a proper facial cleanser. Yes, the most basic yet essential skincare step – cleansing, preps your skin for the rest of your skincare products. However, most of the time, we do a rush job of cleansing our faces. Splashing your face with water or a quick swipe of a face wipe is not enough.

Face Cleansers by 82°E

My favourite cleansers are the ones by 82°E – Lotus Splash and Sugarcane Soak. Although both cleansers are suitable for all skin types, they come with different ingredients meant for different purposes.

Sugarcane Soak

Sugarcane Soak cleanser comes in a gentle, foaming formula that’s packed with antioxidant-rich sugarcane and mandelic acid. It is mild on the skin and does not strip it of its natural oils. Perfect for everyday use, this face wash for oily skin gently removes oil and other impurities from the skin, leaving it feeling smooth.

Sugarcane helps reduce the appearance of dark spots while mandelic acid balances the sebum production, thus revealing hydrated, even-toned and oil-free skin.

Lotus Splash

Lotus Splash cleanser comes in an antioxidant-rich formula that gently cleanses the skin, making it ideal for everyday use. Infused with the goodness of Lotus extracts and Bioflavonoids, this conditioning face wash for all skin types helps remove dirt, dust and other impurities. Clinically proven to maintain the skin’s pH balance, it hydrates and brightens skin over time.

Lotus extracts help enhance blood circulation and maintain skin’s elasticity, while Bioflavonoids replenish the skin’s natural lipids to restore its moisture balance.

Which One Is Better?

Well, there is no comparison between the two 82°E cleansers. Lotus Splash has a slightly creamy consistency whereas Sugarcane Soak has a clear texture. Even though both have a gentle formula, the results they deliver are different, owing to their ingredient composition.

Having used both cleansers, I prefer Sugarcane Soak for my combination skin. It gently cleanses my skin without making it dry and leaves a healthy glow. On the other hand, Lotus Splash feels more hydrating on the skin.
